SALES CONTRACT

Before inquiring about any rabbits please make sure you read and understand this contract. It has some important information that you as the buyer should know! Thanks for reading!

 

For the safety of our home, family & animals our rabbitry is closed to the public. This means we do NOT allow visits.

 

Holds/Deposits

• My rabbits are sold on a very limited, first come, first serve basis. We do not keep a waiting list.​

• We can hold a rabbit with a 50% deposit, whereupon a time/location to meet will be decided (locally, and or at an upcoming show we are already planning to attend, etc.). The remaining balance of monies is due on/before pick-up. If you fail to make arrangements, or pick up your rabbit(s) within our agreed time, it will go back up for sale, and you will forfeit your deposit.*

• Accepted methods of payment - PayPal (Preferred) and Cash.

• Your deposit holds your rabbit(s) for 2 weeks, after that time boarding fees maybe applied. 

Health Guarantee

• All rabbits are given regular health checks. We do not knowingly sell any sick babies.

• We are not responsible for their health after it leaves. It is up to you, the buyer, to check over your rabbit prior to release. Each rabbit that leaves my barn has been treated (prevention) for coccidiosis, ear mites/fur mites, and worms. If a rabbit becomes sick in your care, it is your responsibility to treat it and pay for vet bills. I am not held responsible for a rabbit’s death or illness.​

•  No guarantees of health, breeding, show success or of personality and temperament after they leave our care.

• I do not guarantee the sex of the rabbit. Mistakes happen all the time! The rabbit is sold

       as a buck or doe to the best of my knowledge. If the sex change fairy appears and a sex change happens, I will offer a                           replacement!

Pick ups/Transports

• Transport MUST be arranged prior to holding a rabbit(s). No exceptions.

• We do allow 3rd Party Transports, however, we reserve the right to cancel a sale, if we do not feel comfortable with your chosen transport.

• We do not ship our rabbits at this time.

• Southern Bleu Rabbitry reserves the right to refuse/cancel a sale at any time. We will refund if we cancel the sale.

Pricing

• Prices are non-negotiable. All stock is priced with proper aptitude, and offers for a lesser price than what the animal is listed for will be rejected. We do not sell brood or show quality animals below the 12 week age mark, and it is more typical for available stock to be well beyond the 12 week age mark.

• Although great efforts are made to keep our site current, availability and pricing are subject to change (increase or decrease) without notice unless a deposit is due or has been received for a particular rabbit. Such changes are often based on a rabbit’s growth development. Below is a price list that may help you.

• Show Quality: $250+
  This means the rabbit listed for sale fits well within the ARBA breed standards and is free from any known disqualifications at the time the sale is made. Rabbits sold
  with show or brood potential will include a 3 to 4 generation pedigree. You cannot change
  the rabbits prefix and it must remain on the pedigree as is! I make no guarantees about
  how well your rabbit will place, nor if it will produce kits for you, but I will tell you how
  well the rabbit has placed if it has been shown, and what has been produced if it is a
  proven breeder.

• Brood Quality: $150+

       This means that the rabbit lacks a certain quality or presence needed to compete competitively on the table, but the rabbit                   is a proven producer or has potential to produce quality offspring based on its conformation genetics, and breeding history, if             applicable.  Brood quality rabbits are sold with a full three-generation pedigree.

• Pet Quality: $100-125
  Pet quality stock is available within certain junctures of the year. It is never sold pedigreed, or with the intentions of breeding and showing. If I feel a rabbit should not be utilized in a breeding program, it is offered as a pet only with no pedigree.
